Joss Whedon Signs Three Year Deal With Marvel Studios
This is getting better and better. Not only will Joss write/direct Avengers 2, and create a Marvel show, he’ll also be essentially Marvel’s showrunner, contributing creatively with all Marvel Studios projects until 2015!
This is a BRILLIANT move!! Best thing Marvel could have ever done!And you know what I’m hoping for? Remember when, while making Dollhouse, Joss said he started the show not using a lot of his friends so the show would find his own feet. On season 2 however, he started to call lots of his friends, so we had Felicia Day, Summer Glau, Alexis Denisof, etc. I’m hoping that would be the case here as well on both the show and the Avengers sequel!
